Orphan [Ch.2.5] By Exalted Text

Exalted Text Games has developed a new game named Orphan, version Ch.2.5. The game’s story revolves around Orphan, an adult CYOA/interactive novel set in a fading neo-Rome ravaged by Sorcery and ruled by the Blade. Immerse yourself in an unforgiving universe filled with violence, magic, sex, and intrigue. Life in the Cradle is short, brutal, and primitive. Ruined lords fight for dominance in the shadows of a decaying city-state rife with sorcery, enslavement, and corruption. And you are simply a nobody. For now.

Marring the frigid surface of a doomed planet is an impossibly vast crater, so wide that one could never see the other side with the naked eye, or the collapsing edge high above. A purple gas giant looms in the darkness of space overhead, throwing a bright violet haze over much of the earth. A huge city-state, Cradle, smothers one side of the bowl, where pervasive and merciless slavery fuels the day-to-day agony of the multiracial population within. The crumbling, cobbled streets fall far down into the ground, where the poorest and lowest lie. Steam seeped through a crumbling maze of pitch-black alleys and shadowy lairs. Here begins the story of a youngster who had his destiny snatched from him. What happens next decides if he can steal it back.
