DEVIL’S OFFICE Games has launched a new game named Shrift 2, version 2.56. There is no “happy ending” to the game’s tale. More than a decade before the narrative of “SHRIFT” Due to the emergence of demons, all myths are now acknowledged as real or untrue. To resolve the chaos, the “Church” is formed by integrating all religious factions worldwide. The young man who belongs to it is the primary character in this story. You have to look for the “end” that he believes is truly happy.

Patching Instructions:

Download and extract the game (Shrift 2) into a folder. The demo is available for free via the Shrift 2 shop website (https://www.dlsite.com/maniax/announce/=/product_id/RJ318368.html/?locale=en_US).
Download the patcher file. You will most likely receive a Windows Defender warning about it, which is a false positive that can be safely disregarded.
Extract the patcher file and place it in the same directory as Shrift 2 (the file you use to launch the game).
Launch the Installer and click Install. Allow it to finish.
You should be able to launch the game now; enjoy!

Please keep in mind that some information is automatically stored as Japanese in your save file. It is fine to utilize Japanese saves with the patched version, however some stats, such as the current plot objective and save location, will remain in Japanese until they are automatically updated as you progress through the game. You may also need to navigate to a different world region to load the translated data.
