ScrewThis Games has launched a new game named Silver Creek, and the version is Ep.1 v1.1. The game’s plot revolves around whether you’ve ever had the thought “I should’ve said this to that guy 20 years ago” while in the shower or just before falling asleep at least once in your life. Imagine if you could go back to your senior year of high school and do that? Fight against the bully or back down and attempt to befriend him, fall in love and conquer the High School Queen, be hurled into the Rebel Whirpool, try your luck with that harsh, but gorgeous teacher, or uncover the inner beauty in your geeky pal, something you’ve seldom looked at as a female. In addition, your wonderful nanny is waiting for you at home. All while attempting to solve a multitude of mysteries surrounding the village and searching for your own place in the world.

Developer Notes:
Inspiration:
The game was influenced by early 2000s television shows and games such as Smallville, Life Is Strange, and Twin Peaks.
In terms of NSFW content, one specific Visual Novel that has had the most visitors here has motivated me to experiment with narrative.
What to expect:
This is my first project, so if anything goes wrong, please let me know. As long as the critique is legitimate and not “Buh, this sucks just because”. Writing is bad: can you tell me why? Maybe I overlooked something. Should renders be more colorful, too dark, or lacking in detail? Tell me and I’ll attempt to solve it.
Can I expect mini-games/sandbox features in the future:
My current Ren’Py skill level is insufficient to create anything similar. And if you can’t make something enjoyable, there’s no purpose in integrating it in-game. A few episodes in, maybe, but it won’t be “find character A at the specific time to talk with her”. I don’t want to take time from you only to write “Oh, it’s 2hrs of gameplay instead of 1:30.”, when these 30 minutes are you clicking on Empty Rooms.
NTR/Harem/Vanilla:As far as this goes, I enjoy a dash of realism. What I mean is that the characters around you, including the hero, have their own lives. They meet, interact, and get along with one another, and form rivalries and friendships, among other things. Let me offer you another example: if you don’t approach the female you like, someone else will. But, as awful as it is, will your LIs cheat on you? NO. Will you witness other individuals having sexual encounters? Only when it is essential to shift plots/subplots. Therefore, no. “Harry’s fucking Sally, oh my God, I’m hard”
